Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The 2016 Scharzhofberger ‘GG’ is discreet and subtle but clear, deep and fine on the nose where ripe fruit is displayed. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and still bit yeasty (or creamy) on the palate, this is a fine, quite concentrated and mineral but still not very complex Scharzhofberger. Bottle aging will help. Tasted March 2018.
