Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The entry-level red 2019 Hado showcases the style of the vintage, with ripe fruit at 14.74% alcohol and mellow acidity. This fermented in stainless steel and matured in French oak barrels for one year. It’s a selection from 23 different plots of vines ranging between 20 and 55 years of age in the village of Laguardia. It’s ripe and heady but not overripe, with abundant notes of licorice, powerful but with balance. It’s full-bodied and has abundant, dusty tannins. A very powerful Hado. 100,000 bottles produced.
