Description
Le Coste Bianchetto is a white wine made mainly with Procanico grapes and 10% Malvasia from the Lazio region in Italy.
The grapes come from 20 year old vines planted in volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals.
Winemaking
These grapes are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture, paying attention to the needs of each individual plant and avoiding the use of chemical products.
The grapes are harvested by hand once they have reached optimum ripeness. In the cellar in the centre of the village of Gradoli, the grapes underwent a light skin maceration, and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts began in steel fibre tanks where they spent 6 months before bottling.
Taste
Le Coste Bianchetto is an incredibly fresh and flavoursome white wine, with high citrus notes, herbaceous Mediterranean notes and mineral hints. The palate is light, fresh, delicate and fragrant with just a hint of tannin.
A lively, fluid and addictive white wine.
Le Coste Bianchetto is an exquisite organic white wine from the Vino da Tavola appellation of the Le Coste winery.
A fresh, light and exciting wine that recalls the history of a territory and its people and is born from the ancient local grapes Procanico and Malvasia, with the intention of returning to the peasant wine.
This wine is particularly recommended as an aperitif and accompaniment to grilled white fish and seafood.
