Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The pink colored NV Rosé de Meunier Extra Brut is an old vine selection of Pinot Meunier that fermented in small and large oak barrels. It opens with a pure, but intense raspberry and red currant fruit on the nose, which leads to a pretty dry, tightly-woven and persistent Rosé; it has a delicate mousse and some nice tannins in the aftertaste. It’s pure, fresh and stimulating; it does well as an aperitif, as well as with lighter dishes based on white meat and also cheese. This sample was disgorged in October 2015 with 2.5 grams of dosage, but no indication of the used vintage(s) has been given on the back label.
