Tasted from the cask, the 2021 Riesling Classic opens with a beautifully intense yet pure and aromatic bouquet of perfectly ripe and elegant fruit. On the palate, the wine is delicate and light but also lush and round, with good acidity and fine phenolic grip. It’s not really concentrated, but it’s lovely to drink, especially when young. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022.
