The 2018 Uhlen Laubach Grosse Lage is perfectly ripe and elegant as well as coolish on the complex, slightly herbal, more ‘chalky’ nose. Juicy, piquant and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, silky-textured, persistently salty and complex Riesling with fine tannin grip. This is a complete Riesling with great balance. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
