The NV Brut Nature Rose bursts from the glass, showing remarkable energy, tension and focus. Sweet floral and mint notes add an upper register to a wine that is first and foremost about minerality. The base vintage is 2009, but you would hardly know it judging by the wine’s pure drive. This is a fabulous showing from Laval, but it needs air to soften. Disgorged June 2011. Anticipated maturity; 2012-2017.
