Description
Emilio Moro Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine made exclusively with the Tempranillo grape variety by Bodegas Emilio Moro under the D.O. Ribera del Duero appellation.
The grapes come from vines aged between 12 and 25 years old located in Pesquera de Duero, southwest facing and located at 900 meters above sea level on clay soil.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand. On arrival at the winery, an exhaustive selection process is carried out to discard any clusters that are not in optimum condition.
Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation is also carried out in stainless steel tanks.
After maceration and fermentation, this wine is aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
Taste
Emilio Moro Vendimia Seleccionada is a wine with fruity aromas and toasted notes. In the mouth it is an intense, complete, integrated wine with a perfect acidity.
A complex and distinguished red wine
Emilio Moro Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine designed to commemorate the history and tradition of the Emilio Moro winery.
A red wine that combines excellent ripeness and balance of the grapes with the tradition of one of the most important wineries in Ribera del Duero.
In the gastronomic field, this is a wine that will perfectly accompany small game dishes, stews, roasts and steak tartar.
If you are curious to try it, come on, we know you will like it!
