Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Always a relatively light-styled effort, even in the richest, most concentrated vintages, the 2013 La Grave a Pomerol (nearly all Merlot from the appellation’s lighter, sandy, gravelly soils) exhibits notes of strawberries, loamy soil and forest floor. Easygoing, light- to medium-bodied, fruity and charming, it can be drunk over the next 5-6 years.
