Description
Bertha Brut Nature Reserva is a sparkling wine made from a traditional blend of 50% Xarel-lo, 30% Macabeo and 20% Parellada, by the Bertha winery in the region of Catalonia.
This wine is characterised by following the traditional champenoise method in its production, which means that its second fermentation, ageing and release are all carried out in the same bottle, allowing the bubbles to form naturally!
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand. On arrival at the winery, they are lightly crushed and left to macerate for a period of about 12 hours before fermentation, so that the must is in contact with the skins and aromatic concentration is achieved.
At the end of these processes, the wine is bottled for a second fermentation in the bottle, as the canons of the DO Cava stipulate, for a minimum of 24 months of ageing in the bottle with its lees. The wine is made using the traditional method with slow fermentation processes and a long ageing in the bottle!
Taste
It is a wine with intense and extensive floral and fruity aromas. In the mouth it is fresh, unctuous and elegant, subtle, fine, with a pleasant, well-integrated acidity and a long-lasting, original aftertaste.
A light and vibrant wine
Bertha Brut Nature Reserva is a wine belonging to the special selection of base wines made from three different varieties of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo by Bodega Bertha.Given its versatility, it can be enjoyed at any time!
In the gastronomic field it is perfect for dinners with friends, as an aperitif and to accompany dishes with white meats, white fish and blue fish.
Try this magnificent sparkling wine, produced by the Bertha winery, you will love it!
