Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Disgorged in February 2019, Lahaye’s 2014 Brut Nature Violaine hails from vines on the Bouzy and Tauxières border characterized by shallow soils and south-facing exposition. Offering up aromas of pear, citrus oil, fresh pastry and wet stones, it’s medium to full-bodied, charming and pillowy, with racy acids, chalky dry extract and a seamless, elegantly integrated profile. This is another cuvée that was vinified and disgorged without added sulfites.
